​Project TuxUp serves senior male youth in the Greater Houston Community in need of formal attire for Prom.  Through TuxUp, students will receive education on how to wear formal attire along with the look they need to attend their prom in perfect style. High Schools and youth service organizations are welcome to sign up for Project TuxUp each year to refer students in need of assistance with formal attire to attend their prom. We are currently accepting High School member registrations from special program facilitators, elective teachers, and campus counselors.


 quALIFICATIONS

  • SENIOR MALE STUDENTS
  • LOW INCOME- FREE OR REDUCED LUNCH 
  • ATTENDING PROM 
  • BE REFERRED BY A TUX UP MEMBER
  • ABLE TO MAKE A $20 REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT
  • RETURN RENTAL BY TUESDAY FOLLOWING PROM

FORMAL ATTIRE

  • BLACK TUXEDO 
  • TUXEDO OR DRESS SHIRT
  • BOWTIE OR TIE
  • BLACK SHOES
  • BLACK DRESS SOCKS
  • VEST AND ACCESSORIES
Tuxedo fittings will be scheduled on a first come first served availability. Fittings will be scheduled the week before the students prom date. Rentals are due back to the office by the Tuesday following the students prom. Refundable deposit will be returned once the rental is returned. 

We are currently accepting High School registrations from special program facilitators and campus counselors.
